Databilidad launches Origen Visible so Extremadura's livestock farmers can show off their traceability

A program to publish origin, batches, processes and evidence in a public page that consumers open with a single QR.

Origen Visible turns the information that already exists in the field into a clear, ordered and verifiable story, from farm to table.

Behind every cut of meat, every cheese and every jar of honey lies work that almost never reaches the person buying it. Databilidad has rolled out Origen Visible, its flagship program, so that livestock farmers and food businesses in Extremadura can turn that information into a public page consumers open by scanning a QR.

The idea is simple and emphatic: what's done well in the field shouldn't get lost on the way to the label. Origen Visible brings together declared origin, batch, handling, processes, allergens, health-relevant data and even cooking tips on a single page, designed to be understood at a glance.

From farm to table, in plain sight Origen Visible doesn't invent the information: it organizes it and shows it. Each page can display where a product comes from, what processes it has gone through, which allergens it contains and which documents the producer has provided. Instead of trusting a promise on the packaging, the consumer gets to see the whole story.

For the farmer, that visibility changes the game. The breed, the dehesa, the feed or the curing times -all the things that usually never make it to the shelf- can finally be told and checked.

In plain sight, or in a QR: work done well stops being invisible.

Technology that leaves a trace Origen Visible uses blockchain to leave a technical trace of what's published. If a page changes, the version, date and content shown are recorded. It doesn't turn the page into a new certificate: it makes traceability visible and consultable over time.

The program includes the QR, rollout support and hands-on help to prepare the pages. For a small farm, it's the way to explain its value; for a high-volume business, it's a single channel that organizes batch information and cuts duplication. In both cases, the message is the same: show your work so consumers know what they're eating and can trust it.
