Did you know?
- One hundred per one hundred chamomile
The PDO Gata-Hurdes only loves AOVE monovarietal of chamomile, an indigenous variety from northern Cáceres. Its olive trees are unvigorous but long and very resistant to the winter cold of the saw.
- Little oil, much mime
It is a low-yield olive, about 10-12%: it takes many kilos for each bottle. This is why this oil is scarce and is made with jewelry care.
- Apple and almond
Its name refers to the rounded shape of the fruit, and its sensory profile is fine and delicate, with memories of apple, almond and newly cut grass. It is the same variety that is also eaten as table olives.
